St Peter

This is an in-between parish, more of a through road to somewhere else than a place to stop. It is sandwiched between St Ouen to the northwest and St Brelade to the south and is dominated by the airport and by a large commercial area around its parish church and parish hall. Here there are good retail shops, as well as warehouse storage facilities, several car showrooms and wholesale furniture and soft furnishing outlets. There are large housing estates and also some large, beautiful houses, but the main disadvantage of this area is the noise from low-flying aircraft. The most beautiful part of the parish is the long winding and wooded valley that runs down to the south coast of the island.
