Ikorodu

Ikorodu is an expanding industrial and residential area about 26 km from Ikeja. Its lovely lagoon shoreline dotted with beckoning palm groves also make it a choice destination for tourists. Rent for a three-bedroom flat in this area is between N180,000 and N300,000. Bus and taxi are the main means of transport in this area. Ikorodu is easy to reach by road but getting into the area can be a bit difficult especially from the Ketu end of the Ikorodu Road due to street traders. There are beaches at Ipakodo Baiyeku and Ibeshe and local markets and shopping malls are to be found in the area. Security is provided by private firms and vigilante groups.
