Highgate

North of London, Highgate can be reached by underground or by bus from Euston station. The neighbourhood is on a hill and consists mainly of small peaceful streets with classic two to three-storey detached houses with gardens and private parking. The large expanse of Highgate Heath is one of the main attractions, along with the cemetery, where Karl Mark is buried. The pro of the area is its quiet, the con is its distance from the city. There are good shops of all kinds and this is very much a residential area, mainly for well-off intellectuals.
