London Bridge

A very impressive area although it is not really a residential zone. In fact there are very few houses and apartments near the bridge. You can see the effort the city is making to give it a new identity. At the moment the area is a building site, with cranes all over the place but it is the centre of some of the most exciting architecture in London. Not the best place to live at the moment but nice for a pleasant stroll and a stop for a meal in a restaurant overlooking the Thames. Good underground and railway connections from here into the City and to Canary Warf
