Marylebone

It is near Oxford Street, an area for tourists interested in shopping and visiting the Madame Tussaud wax museum, or those in search of Sherlock Holmes. It is close to Regents Park and the London zoo. If you stay away from the main streets it is reasonably quiet and was considered a rather dull area to live except by those who knew it well. Now it is turning into the latest trendy part to town to rent or buy. Marylebone is inside the Congestion Zone so you have to pay a fee is you want to enter by car. There are good restaurants and sidewalk cafes between Marylebone Road and Oxford Street.
