The area is chaotic at the moment mainly thanks to the construction of modern and what will be prestigious apartment blocks. The area has a lot of traffic and it is difficult to find the quiet and calm of the better London neighbourhoods here. Streets are mostly wide and bustling. The bus connection are good and there is both an underground and mainline station which connects Vauxhall with places to the south of the city.
