Opera, Palacio Real

This area is situated at the end of the important Calle Arenal, one of Madrid's main shopping streets, which starts at Puerta Del Sol and ends in Plaza Isabel II. Close to this square, which has an underground station, you will find the opera, el Teatro Real, restaurants and a cinema, the impressive Palacio Real and the city's Cathedral de la Almudena, used by the royal family for important festivities. It is very close to Plaza Mayor and is a quiet area. Houses and apartments are well-kept, and unusually parking is not too difficult. This is a good residential option.
