Established in 1995, the library contains a total of 12,000 items in French and Portuguese, including novels, comic books, tourist guides, art books, DVDs and music CDs. There is also a good selection of magazines on international affairs, African art and culture and science. A multimedia centre with internet access is under construction near the multimedia library.
