Like most markets in Rome, the one at the Piazza Testaccio near Via Marmorata is open Mon-Sat mornings. The covered area is lined with butchers, fishmongers and grocers selling an array of fruits and vegetables. A date hasn’t been fixed yet, but the market is meant to move in a few months to the commercial centre of Via Galvani.
