19 January-17 February 2012. Fondazione Marconi pays homage to the Tuscan photographer Aurelio Amendola. On display are a series of shots taken by this leading figures of the 20th century, immortalized both in their studios and private homes, such as Alberto Burri, who became Amendola’s great friend. Amendola has always had a great passion for artists and works from the Renaissance period. Throughout his career he has met some great masters of the calibre of Andy Warhol and Giorgio De Chirico.
